7 on 7 Passing
The past several years have seen a rapid growth in flag and touch football leagues across the United States, led by the influence of high school and college Spring football season. At the high school level, where nearly 1 million students play contact football, flag and touch have generally become an approved and encouraged activity in the off-season.
7-on-7 Passing is a competitive, non-contact football format designed to focus on developing players’ passing skills, primarily for quarterbacks, wide receivers, and defensive backs, by emphasizing route running, ball handling, and coverage techniques in a fast-paced environment with only seven players per team on a 40-yard field.
