As proud members of the Chicagoland Pop Warner tackle football program, we provide a supportive and competitive environment for kids aged 7 to 13 years old (as of 7/31/25 – not yet in high school). Our program focuses on fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, ensuring that every player builds strong skills on and off the field. Our program is a not for profit 501 (3) (c)

Develop youth tackle football players – physically, mentally, and socially – and prepare them for a successful experience in high school football and beyond.

Age-based Play
The Arlington Dawgs follow the Pop Warner guidelines for age-based play (no weight restrictions on players). The age groups are determined by a birthday cutoff on July 31st, 2025.
Registration for the Dawgs 2025 season will open February 1, 2025 and we will be fielding teams for 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U team this season.
The Dawgs play in the Chicagoland Pop Warner league as part of the Pop Warner Mid American Region. See Chicagoland Pop Warner for more details.
Practice & Games
Most teams will practice three days per week and play one game over the weekend. The length of the practice will vary by team and age group. Practices will begin on August 1st, 2025 and typically take place at MacArthur Middle School fields.
Games will begin at the end of August and go through mid-October. Home Field for 2025 is Christian Liberty Academy, Arlington Heights, IL

The Dawgs tackle program is open to rising 3 – 8 graders who will be 13 or under on July 31, 2025.
$100 non-refundable deposit due at registration
- Equipment fees (due in March):
- $430 – $650 to buy
- $200 to rent
- If you have Dawgs equipment purchased in previous years, this charge does not apply to you.
- Remaining balance (due in May):
- $300 for those also playing 7v7
- $400 for those playing tackle only
